Previous summer Barbara Oliphant noticed Wollie around her neighborhood. Oliphant pitied the visibly malnourished stray cat and started to feed him. She named the feline Wollie as it became a member of the family. As her husband was hospitalized from a stroke, she reluctantly brought Wollie to the rescue league.

She still miss Wollie. So when her husband’s health improved, her daughter secretly adopted the cat on June 23rd. But when she was at the parking lot, Wollie escaped and was no where to be found.
Three days later, Oliphant saw Wollie crossing the road toward her house. By then, she would have travelled 6 miles from the Animal Rescue League.
